Best iRobot Vacuums

This entry-level iRobot model is a great choice for those who don't wish to pay the price of a premium model. It is a great navigation device and obstacle-avoidance technologies and also supports app and voice controls as well as scheduled cleaning.

It's also more effective at getting rid of pet hair than its closest rival and the more affordable ONSON GOOVI robot F007.

2. Roomba J7+

If equipped with the mopping attachment the j7+ can swap between sweeping and mopping to ensure your floors are spotless. It has a powerful 3-stage cleaning system that includes suction that is high-powered, edge-sweeping brushes which can be maneuvered around furniture and tight corners, as well as dual multi-surface rubber brushes that work on different types of floors. The j7+ also does a solid job of picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets with no pile and floors with low pile.

The j7+ robotic vacuum is a great machine however it's not quite up to the Ecovacs X1 Omni the top choice. The X1 has a better battery life and charging speed, and is compatible with a self-emptying base station and can detect your schedule to organize autonomous cleaning sessions, has a better camera to detect hazards such as pet waste and power cables, is more durable and sturdy, has a mopping attachment, can better navigate messy areas, and does a better job at getting rid of pet hair off of the floors.

3. Roomba i3 EVO

The Roomba EVO is a great robot vacuum for floors with no carpet. The BestReviews Testing Lab compared it to the Shark AI Robot and found that while both models had similar cleaning performance however, the i3 was more equipped to handle low and high-pile rugs. The i3 has a bigger dirt container, which means it doesn't have to be empty as often. It also has a Dual Virtual Barrier that lets you mark areas that the robot is not to clean, which makes it a great option for homes where pets live.

Like other irobot robots, the i3 EVO also uses smart maps to remember your home's layout and divisions, however it does this without the help of a camera that the i8/i8+, j7/j7+, and s9/s9+ have. You can give it a command to start cleaning or check its status. The iRobot App is among the most user-friendly apps in the business and allows you to schedule, select rooms or areas to block off and more.

The M6 makes use of Imprint Smart Mapping to map out your home's layout. It does this by mapping each room and its contents without cables or cameras.
