Group 0+

All infant car seats must be certified to the i-Size standard and be in compliance with European safety standards. Group 3

A group 3 infant seat is a 3-in-1 car seat that can be used from birth until the booster stage. These seats are designed to be rear facing (some up to at minimum 9kg) however, they can be changed to be used forward-facing until the weight limit of 36kg.

These seats are usually very comfortable and provide excellent neck and head support. They are often equipped with removable and washable padding for babies, making sure that they are free of germs. One of the best models we have tested is Nuna PIPA Air Rx includes two inserts – one made of sustainable materials and the other from GOTS certified organic cotton – to ensure that your baby feels super cozy.

We don't recommend switching groups too soon, as children in the lower limits of each group could be more prone to injuries in a crash, therefore it's best to hold on to your old seat until your child is at their new limit.
